💕ARE YOU ALWAYS COMPLAINING?💕

Complaining is often viewed as something negative but I chose to see it as a positive. Why 💁🏻‍♀️? Because the thing you are continuously complaining about is the actual thing that you need to take charge of and change.

Is it your job?
Is it your relationship?
Is it your health?
Is it your living situation?

For me it was my work. After working in healthcare for 6 years , I slowly felt like I was complaining about it. That was not the life I wanted to live. I wanted to do something that lit me up and energised me. This longing for that energised feeling led me to creating Knowing Her Wellness and ‘The Stress Less Journal’.

Although the decision to leave healthcare was hard, risky and scary, it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Life is too short to stay with things that weight you down. So my advice to you is to listen to your complaining 🛑 ✋ about the things that are no longer serving you and put your energy in changing them.

The secret is that HAPPINESS is an inside job. We forever chase happiness in things which unfortunately doesn’t make us happy or it does but only for a little while. Your life doesn’t actually start till you start being happy within yourself as an individual.

Working with some many women most of them say:
💕I thought 💭 the money would make me happy but I still feel sad
💕I thought This job would make me happy but it has impacted my every day life so much and has added so much stress
💕I have someone that loves me but I’m still not happy
💕I thought losing weight would make me happy, but the maintenance causes me to spend so much time away from those I love.

Wanting to find some of your own inner happiness? Start planning:

💕Visualise the relationship you want to have with yourself. How do you want to feel, speak 🗣 and think of yourself?
💕Understand that perfection doesn’t exhist in your personal and professional life. Everything in life has flaws. Life needs to be taken with the good and the bed.
💕Find what you love. Money is important but it’s not everything. Your inner peace and happiness is of most importance. I made the hard transition and understand the difference.
💕Don’t place your happiness on other people. The hard truth that I also coach my clients on is that no one can make you feel a certain way you have 100% percent of the journey.
💕Make time for the people you love and that fill your heart. That happiness radiates 10fold.

💕WHERE YOU AREN’T THRIVING, IS USUALLY WHERE

💕WHERE YOU AREN’T THRIVING, IS USUALLY WHERE YOU ARE STRESSING💕

Usually the stress that we are experiencing comes from 1 of the 5 pillars of life:

1. CAREER - You enjoy what you do most of the time.
2. SOCIAL - You have meaningful relationships in your life.
3. FINANCIAL - You manage your finances well.
4. PHYSICAL - You have the energy to get things done.
5. COMMUNITY - You like where you live.

Which one of these pillars do you feel like you are not thriving in right now?
How can you better thrive in the pillar that you have identified?

I recommend that my clients brainstorm around the below👇🏼 3 journal prompts in order to better thrive in their identified pillar.

1. Where are you at now?
2. Where do you want to go and what actions will you take to get there?
3. What will happen if I don’t start thriving in this area?

My goal this year was in the financial department. I needed to step up and be become better in this department. Cutting up my credit card 💳 last week was the best achievement. Never having one again.

💕TIME FLIES WHEN YOUR🤰🏻BAKING, FEELING BUMPY & PLAYING ON THE MAT💕.

My aim for this pregnancy has been to:
💕 Enjoy every moment of it whether good or bad.
💕 Make sure that I was doing my best to look after myself mentally and physically health to achieve the best outcome for mini and my postpartum recovery.

Being on the home stretch of this beautiful journey, here is some of my advice to better manage getting through your pregnancy.

💕As my GP always said - ‘Sometimes you just have to stop to smell the roses’. You are one☝️ of the lucky ones if you are able to go through this journey. The fact that you are going through the process of carrying a babba deserves some time for processing and appreciation by being mindful during this time that goes way to fast.

💕Do your best to consume the most nutritious food that you can during your pregnancy, but don’t be too hard on yourself if you need to indulge. The focus should be on balance not on what you should or shouldn’t have.

💕Move daily. It doesn’t have to be strenuous but it will keep you body feeling strong 👍🏼, help improve your mood and help you feel good about yourself. I have kept up both reformer pilates and bootcamp with modifications the whole way through the pregnancy and it has truly left me feeling empowered. The extra weight has definitely made me puff just a little bit more 😆. The baby has enjoyed all of the MOVES 💃🏻.

💕Lower some of your expectations during pregnancy and be realistic on what you can achieve. Although I have been on top of things most of my pregnancy once I hit 3rd trimester I felt my brain 🧠 slow down and that is OK. I rest when I need to and I’m trusting the process of what’s coming and you should too.

💕Spend time with your people that help you feel good and help support you.

💕Find the right medical professionals to look after you. Whether that is an obstetrician, midwife or a physiotherapist that will look after all your aches and pains. You should be supported by the best during this time.

💕 FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS & CREATING YOUR BALANCE💕

Building your dreams and creating your meaning of balance, starts with your decision to take the first step and move forward to creating your desired life.

I craved less stress and more balance for a long long time. My decision to move on from health care and follow my dream to become a Stress and Health Coach did not come easy. It came with lots of internal conversations, unknowns and self doubt.

I questioned myself constantly 🤯

Can I do this?

Do I have it in me?

How will I make it all work?

So how did I do it?

1. I TRUSTED ✨ - Trust yourself and the inner wisdom within. Trust that you will land on your feet and whatever the outcome you end up in the right place.

2. I COMMITTED TO CREATING THE LIFE I WANTED TO LIVE✨- What actions will you take and how will you hold yourself accountable to take actions towards your goals?

3. I HAD CLARITY AROUND THE LIFE I WANTED YO CREATE ✨- What do you want your day to look like? Do you have clarity around what you want to achieve?

4. I FELT WORTHY ✨ - Remember that every person on this planet is worthy and deserves love, happiness and fulfilment. Have the confidence that you too are worthy.

💕ANOTHER YEAR….ANOTHER 356 DAYS OF WISDOM💕

Another year and another year worth of wisdom, learning and strength. Welcome number 35.

Upon reflection here are all of my little bits of wisdom.

💕Flexibility and letting go of expectation have been key 🔑 in getting through another year of on and off lockdowns. Staying flexible helped me stay mentally level around change and embrace it has helped me adjust in every area of my life. Expectation in our current climate can often lead to disappointment. Letting go of this expectation and the control that goes with it can help you build on your emotional resilience helping benefit your mental well-being.

💕Trust that your prefect opportunity is just around the corner and chase the opportunity that will create other opportunities✨. The universe knows when you are ready and have truly done the inner work to welcome that opportunity you have been waiting for. The perfect job, relationship and result will be there waiting for you at the right time.

💕It’s okay to have a break and take this time to redirect. Listen👂to your intuition around what is and isn’t working for you anymore. Be patient, all the answers that you need to pivot will come to you eventually. You just need to give them the space to present themselves.

💕Surround yourself with the people that matter. Value them and hold them close just like they do you.

💕Be okay with working with less. By having less to work with, we become more creative and innovative.

💕The most important one, is thinking 💭 bigger than happiness. Thriving in life isn’t always about things being easy, comfortable and happy. Some of the things that will eventually help you feel happy and accomplished take some discomfort, difficulty and hard decisions first.

Officially my last solo birthday before our human baby arrives. Looking forward to birthday this little one and navigating motherhood along with business.
